Oh hi gang! I didn’t see you there! People read this? Do they? I’m not sure. I’m never sure if anything I do ever reaches an audience, but it’s fun to do so….whatever.
Anyway, it’s been a little while since I wrote last, hasn’t it? I was depressed, unemployed and stressing out about pretty much everything. Things weren’t so hot. I am happy to report that the status quo has improved a bit since then. I started a job assignment, which still has five weeks to go (which I am awesomely thrilled about!) and oh yes…
We bought a house!
Well by “we” I mean Mum and Dad did. They bought it for Craig and I. They did all the legwork for us, all we have to do is pay the mortgage.
In the meantime our lease at 441 Bridge ended so we are living at Marrabel until settlement day, which is so very incredible. (Apart from the travel to and from work. That bites arse. Good thing I like driving, I guess.) It’s so lovely to be home. Funny thing is almost exactly ten years after we moved out of the house there, here I was moving back in! It just feels lovely to be back in my childhood home. Maybe far off into the future, we can come back on a more permanent basis…
Other than that, things are good. Yes. Very good. It’s amazing how much a little work and an exciting (yet a bit scary) life milestone can change your outlook on things.
